CultureNOW is an AIA-led pro bono coalition of designer professionals that formed in response to 9/11. Headed by Abby Suckle, FAIA and Anne Lewison, AIA, RAIC, the movement has expanded to include a wide variety of committed individuals from architects and planners to educators and historians. Their mission originally grew from a set of strategic recommendations for rebuilding the city of New York. Since its inception, the movement has grown to include other projects such as HarlemNOW.
